adding/removing administration rights

Hi,
On a test-server, I recently did an upgrade to chamilo 1.11.4.
When browsing the functions I came across the user-list. The first user has administrator rights, although he should not.
I'm trying to remove those rights but I can't find how to do that.

And the contrary : how do I give a user administrator rights ? With the old chamilo version you can add a new user giving him admin-rights. The new chamilo version does not have that possibility (or I can't find it).

P.S. I'm logged in as an administrator.

Hello,

It's the same procedure as in previous versions:

To remove administrator role: edit the user profile, then uncheck the "Administration" field.

To create a new admin, add a new user and select teacher role, then you can see the "Administration" checkbox.

Hi,

I modified that user to teacher and then I could remove the admin right. Then I returned the user to student.
Now that user is a student with no admin-rights.
